About the Hosts
Leigh LaRie
Host
Leigh LaRìe Bohannon (born December 16, 1982) known in the radio and promotions world simply as Leigh LaRìe. Born and raised in Portland, OR, Leigh LaRìe got her start on the airwaves as an on-air personality with 103.1 WEUP in Huntsville, AL while she was attending Alabama A&M University. Graduating with her bachelor’s in Marketing she continued her work in music promotions and artist development in Alabama and Georgia. Later returning to her hometown of Portland.
Leigh LaRìe later pursued a degree in Integrated Media with a focus in Radio Broadcasting while hosting her own show on 107.1 KMHD titled “The Takeover.” After several years and the sale of the station, Leigh LaRìe continued her work with local artists, promotions, community advocacy and youth mentorship.
Dirty Roses Podcast has been a passion project, years in the making, for Leigh LaRìe as she collected dating stories from friends and associates during her 21 year relationship with her ex-husband. The newly single host brings the perspective of long-term marriage, little-to-no dating experience and boy-mom to the show, as she and her co-host (friends of over 2.5 decades) discuss any and everything love, lust and perception.

Nichole L.L. Bain (born September 13, 1982), known professionally as Nik B or
simply Nik, is new to the world of Podcast and live streaming personality. She is a
co-host of the new series, “Dirty Roses Podcast” with Leigh LaRìe.
Most of Nik’s experience in public speaking comes from her undergrad and
master’s work programs in school. NiK studied graphic design at Norfolk State
University in Norfolk, VA and Business Administration at Concordia University in
Portland, OR. In addition to school she served as an active member of
Toastmasters International.
Nik brings a unique look at dating through the lens of being hopeful, but,
“unlucky” in love. She has many relatable stories, ideas and thoughts on modern
day dating. What it is and what it isn’t. And serves as an ear to those who have
been through it and are still going through it!
